Public Relations Manager - Maldives

Our client, one of the world leaders in providing luxury resort accommodation are looking to recruit an island based PR Manager.

Maintaining a guest focus at all times, you will be responsible for providing an annual communication strategy for the cluster of properties. You will ensure that all communications adhere to high brand standards at all times.

Responsibilities include management of the press office therefore ensuring maximum exposure for the resorts through various channels; PR events, press pack, media relations and media placements including competitions, articles, advertisements, advetorials and reader offers.

You will also need to manage all appointed PR agency contacts within various markets, implementing your PR strategy via these agencies.

The role will report directly to the Director of Business Development, and will involve establishing key internal relationships, particularly with Sales, Marketing and Revenue departments to ensure the correct rates and \'message\' is being delivered, and to organise key industry familiarisation trips to the island resorts.

To be considered for this position, you MUST demonstrate previous experience in a public relations role within the hospitality industry, preferably in-house in a similar upscale and luxury environment. You must show that you have experience of managing and implementing PR programs, and have a knowledge of dealing with international media and publications relevant to high-end hospitality.
