RecruitR is currently working with a top-tier coal miner that is expanding one of their current operations.  The company has projects throughout Aus tralia and the globe and is a renowned coal producer.  Due to their current expansion we currently have an opportunity for a Outbye Mining Coordinator at one of their underground coal mines in Central Queensland.

 

This role is based at a prestigious site with a solid management team.  You will enjoy living in the local town with subsidised housing or being able to commute from the QLD coast.

 

As the Outbye Mining Coordinator you will be reporting to the Production Superintendent and will be responsible for scheduling & coordinating outbye activities ensuring that production & safety targets are achieved.  You will also be:

  • Provide input and direction to the Outbye Electrical and Outbye Mechanical Coordinators daily maintenance plans and the daily outbye operations plans to provide for efficient completion of all activities.

  • Coordinating all outbye activities

  • Drive compliance with the site safety management system

To be successful in this position you will need previous experience in a similar role within the Australian coal mining industry.  A bachelor\'s degree in Mine Engineering as is a Third Class Certificate of Competency.  A strong knowledge of underground coal mining is essential.  You will also have a proven track record of working in & promoting a safe working environment at all times
