Infectious Diseases Registrar (Advanced Trainee)

    The Infectious Diseases Unit provides an excellent clinical experience under the supervision of 3 supportive full time Staff Physicians. This includes inpatient care, an extensive consultation service, outpatients (Tuberculosis, Hepatitis and general Infectious Disease), Infection Control, Hospital in the Home, and an antibiotic stewardship program.

    The successful candidate will gain knowledge in the management of adult community-acquired, nosocomial, mycobacterial, tropical and retroviral infections in particular. There is a major commitment to teaching of students and basic trainees and active encouragement to participate in clinical meetings.

    The position is for 12 months commencing on 7th February 2011 and will continue until 5th February 2012.
