Our client is a global manufacture of products c onsumed on a daily basis and continually adding value to the quality of life to people all over world. Their brand names are iconic and well recognised in the FMCG market. As such, this business only requires a candidate who believes they stand out in their field.

 

The role will have the responsibility for developing the daily production plans to ensure the balance between supply and demand meets production, as well as address issues that inadvertently affect the throughput of daily production. The schedule is 12 weeks in to the future. You will possess the ability to analyse forecasts and sales data in order to formulate optimized daily production and prepare production schedules. Review production levels against original production plans, in addition to leading the materials planning process. You will also work closely with Sales & Marketing and have experience in supporting new product development and business opportunities and be proactive in identify and resolving planning related issues including forecast & inventory accuracies.

Overall your communication both written, verbal and analytical skills will be strong along with your interpersonal skills, Youll have a proven background in managing the Planning function across the business. Experience in working with ERP systems and JD Edwards would be advantageous. Any candidate applying for this role will be required to be tertiary qualified (degree) and a proven employment history recognized as a high achiever.
