One of NSW\'s construction powerhouses has recently won multiple residential projects in western NSW.These projects are medium density residential in nature with values up to $6million. These projects have commenced already and are requiring the services of qualified leading hands/subforepeople to support the existing onsite team.

As a leading hand you will be required to do the following activities:

  •     Supervising trades and subcontractors on a daily basis
  •     Conducting site inductions, safety audits and toolbox talks
  •     Setting out and ensuring project is built according to our clients stringent quality standards
  •     Reporting upwards to an experienced site manager and being a key part of the site management team.
  •    Getting on the tools as needed.

Ideally the candidates they are looking for will be trade qualified with at least some supervisor experience on commercial or residential projects.
This is a contract role with a 5 month duration. The projects are based out in Western NSW (Lithgow, Bathurst) and ideally this company wishes to recruit people from this area. However they will consider relocating Sydney based candidates. They will also consider candidates with overseas experience who are willing to relocate for the duration of this project.
